2.  AGAPE SOUL SISTERS WOMEN RETREAT - Our Loving Will Change The World - www.agapelive.com  In it's 15th year, this retreat is facilitated with myself, Rev. Greta Sesheta, a powerful group of service angels and a Council of Wise Women that will include my beautiful mother of 87 years. Women come from various parts of Amercia and beyond to feel the energy in our unique gathering of great women. For women only: If you have never been to a women's retreat just know that our retreat is friendly... I promise you will be so glad you came. It's not a cerebral gathering... KUUMBA In Motion Summer Arts Camp was nothing short of phenomenal. Those of you who knew about our six week camp and answered our call for help last summer... Thank you so much. We were able to provide for well over 100 children over the course of six weeks! We provided summer jobs for two high school students, 10 KUUMBA Guides and 12 artists. We (adults who participated) were completely anointed in the innocence and energy of YOUTH! It was by far, the most amazing summer of my life... and that includes everything. Singing with happy children (and adults) on a bus to the BEACH every Friday??? Now that's what I call living!

Look for more and greater to come from KUUMBA-In Motion. Registration opens in two weeks and soon, our campaign drive will begin again. Last year we raised approximately $30,000 and parents were able to pay an additional $12,000. This year with earlier notice we will do even better. Thanks for your joyous response. Pray that we will be strong enough to release more joy, more music, more innovative ways of serving the good that we all came to know and share!

Pray that we stay open to the good that's overflowing!

Pray that we remember to Sit Our Butts Down and be with our Self on a regular basis... like maybe three times a day... two... ok, 1 1/2!

And Pray that I get to meet you sooner than later. Invite me, build an event... I will come. Just ask Wendy!

About My First Book...

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT... that a work such as Let My Soul Surrender would have as far reaching effect as it is having all over America. Folks are  feeling my true intention in this work which consists of stories, music, paintings and photographs.

AND WHAT IS THE INTENTION I HOLD? I want you to know how Art emerges from me. I want to continue to tell my stories - in my own voice and in my distinct way. I want you to know how music lives and breathes through this soul of mine... I thought it might be interesting to you... and guess what?

aka Nobantu                                                                                                                                                   (Nobantu means the Mother of the Nation, the One who Loves the People and the One that the People Love. This name, Nobantu, was bestowed upon me during a naming initiation in Soweto, South Africa, 1992.
